Spain wins world cup!

We went to the world cup celebration the day after Spain won. We were right in the middle of it. It was Amazing! We got there by metro and even that was insane.

We are in Siena and are getting ready for the big town horse race. It happens twice a year and is a huge deal for the locals. The horses are blessed in the church before they race. The main square is turned into a track by putting up mattresses along the walls and dirt is brought in and packed down. We are a little nervous about going... Supposedly 60,000 people are packed into the middle of the square to watch and you can't get out for a couple hours till the race and parade are over. I will try to post pics while we are inside!

Nightime in Roma

Rome is beatiful at night. We saw most of the famous Piazzas, fountains and the Spanish steps at night.

Sorry everyone with the week of no posting. We just have no time, or I a sleeping, lots of siestas around here. I love it :)
